"I’m an actor who lives in New Jersey. I was planning on traveling to Toronto with my sister and decided to look for acting studios in the city. My search led me to Milne Studio, and I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. From the moment I reached out, Brad Milne (owner/acting coach) gave a personal experience, being nothing short of extremely knowledgable, dedicated, and welcoming. The pre-class homework had me focused and prepared days before class started. I could already tell that the classes themselves would exceed my expectations. The small class size allowed Brad to work one on one with students during the entire bootcamp, offering individualized trainings, techniques, and exercises. He worked with each of us to maximize our weekend, making sure that we reached our own goals and potentials. Using professional filming equipment (cameras, lighting, editing), I am left with a 3 minute acting reel that I am so proud of. Thank you, Brad Milne, for a learning experience that will never leave me. I’ll definitely be joining in virtually from New Jersey for classes, and hope to visit again soon!"

You'll be challenged to stay focused, take risks, explore your own emotional depths, and have great fun connecting with yourself and the other actors.

Level II is for actors that have either: attended our Level I bootcamp, or our Level I & II classes, or have an existing demo reel that showcases your strongest work. This bootcamp immerses you into compelling high stakes scene work, we pick up where we left off in Level I and drive your character and role creation to new heights.

Each bootcamp is capped at 8 students. Register and purchase your spot early in this unique  acting master class and demo reel scene workshop. You'll gain tools to strengthen your character preparation, boost your auditioning skills, and elevate your film and television acting overall. Your chosen monologue for level I or scene for level II is then worked on throughout the 48 Hour Acting Bootcamp workshop and coached, directed, and produced for your acting demo reel.

Milne Studio Demo Reels

Friday - 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
We cover all aspects of the Milne Studio training system. We will overview the journey you’ll take and make plans to ensure a productive outcome for all.

Saturday – 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM

A comprehensive and in-depth investigation into Milne’s technique, PERGE; helping you effectively breakdown scripts, giving you stronger role prep and improved audition skills. We'll apply precise interpretive steps adding dimension to your roles.

You’ll engage in breathing, energy, voice, movement, interpersonal connection, improvisation, storytelling, monologues, scene study and performance exercises. By the end of the day you’ll be immersed in character and ready to play the role, with residue of the day’s work present until the next morning. Applying best practices greatly improves both acting and performance ability.

Sunday – 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM

The Set – The day starts with a brief warm up (foundation and interpretation exercises) and discussion about pacing through a shoot day. Learning to connect and reconnect with your role is essential. In character and ready to play the role you’ll move into our on-camera environment. While directors love it when actors hit it on the first take, we’re often called upon to repeat a scene or parts of a scene several times for coverage. Actors have to be ready.

The Performance – Time to step into the ring. Like any sport or engagement, proper preparation is critical to your success. The same applies in acting: we must precisely prepare for the part, make the focus of the work the back, front, top, bottom and all the sides of the role, then trust that we can let the prep go and live in the present, breathing quietly in our bodies on screen. Your performance will be professionally shot then mastered and delivered to you via Vimeo.

• Extensive structured homework.
• 15+ Hours Intensive Coaching.
• Immersive journey into character.
• Professionally shot and mastered scene for your demo reel.

More Bootcamp Testimonials

“Brad Milne’s acting workshops and private coaching were recommended to me and I am pleased to make the same recommendation to any actor at any level that wishes to pursue their craft. Thank you Brad for an incredible 48 hours of Boot Camp. I’ll be back!” Paul Massey, Canadian Actor

"I took Brad's 48 Hour Acting Bootcamp and the piece of work I produced on the last day is the best work I’ve ever done. The camp is basically months of classes rolled into one weekend and the progress you’ll make is incredible. It’s intense but SO much fun!! You’ll wish you could go to this bootcamp every weekend! Seriously. 🙂 I’ve never made more progress than I have while studying with Brad Milne. My confidence has not only been restored, it’s growing by leaps and bounds. I can’t say this enough – Best. Coach. Ever." Vanessa Cook, U.S. Actress

"I took Brad’s 48 hour Acting boot camp a few weeks ago and I highly recommend it. The preparation, coaching, direction, and shooting of a monologue helped me book the lead roll on a pilot. Brad takes actors to places they had no idea they could reach. Well done! I especially recommend his training for actors who take their careers seriously.” David Flannigan, U.S. Actor.

"I started studying with Brad back in 2021, during the pandemic. I had taken a Method acting class through Milne Studio, and wanted to take more acting classes. I started with the Beginner level classes and progressed through the next two levels. People might feel as though doing acting online would be a hindrance to your progress and performance. Not a bit of it! Online provides an obstacle/ opportunity, one that makes you push a little bit harder. Now that the pandemic is waning, the studio has been opened back up to in-person classes. I've taken two of the Bootcamp classes, one for monologues, and one for a scene with a partner. As with the regular classes, Brad and the other coaches push you to go a little deeper into yourself to really give a presence to your characters. I will say that the Bootcamps are ideal if you really want to go deeper into the craft of acting. The one I did most recently really forced me and my scene partner to take the characters to whole new depths. That's the other thing - Brad doesn't simply allow you to repeat a scene as it had been done on-screen. He pushes you to find new emotions and nuances to the scene, making it and the characters unique to you and your scene partner. For example, my scene partner and I did Marty and Wendy from "Ozark", but we were able (with Brad's support) to make the scene uniquely "ours". Same dialogue, different emotions, different feel. And it was our best work to date! I'm getting more auditions and more work as an actor, so much of that can be chalked up to working with Brad and the others at Milne Studio." Geoff Kerman, Canadian Actor, July 2022
